So, what is affiliation? Affiliation is where one site puts up a link to another site, and that other site puts up a link to the first site. So, say that our site and your site decided to affiliate. You'd put a link or button on your site linking to us, and we'd put a link or button on our site linking to yours. It's great for getting more traffic and activity. Generally, text links and affiliate buttons are used to link to the sites.

So, do you want to affiliate with Ho-Oh's Realm? Yes? No? Either way, you can request an affiliation simply by asking us. Keep in mind we won't immediately respond. Also, all affiliation requests will need to be approved by the Site Creator, Shiny-Ho-Oh. We will also refuse your request if your site partakes in anything that goes against our site regulations, or engages in illegal activity. Please use your common sense when affiliating with us. Here are more definite rules. Please read them before you request an affiliation:

• We will not, under any conditions, affiliate with you if your site breaks any of our site rules. Please read the rules here before requesting to affiliate.
• The administrators try to be as active as possible, but we're not always online and active, so don't be upset if we don't respond immediately.
• If we accept your affiliation request, please put our site icon or link up somewhere noticeable on your site within three days. If our button or link does not go up within 3 days, we will take yours down.
• Your site must remain active if you want to remain an affiliation of us. If your site goes down for more than a week and you do not notify one of the administrators of any difficulties, we will remove you from our affiliation list. Same goes for if your site has not been updated for more than 3 months, in which case we will also take your site's link down.
• You must have a 88x31 icon for us to put up with our affiliates.
• If your site engages in illegal activity, or engages in activity that goes against our site regulations, we will quit the affiliation.
• Your site must be in english - we cannot read it if it's not in english, even with a translator.
• You must have a least some form of site original site content up, whether it be information, download/images, and whatever else that would be considered as site content. Basically, anything that shows you have put effort into making your site.
